IRVINE, Calif., April 10 / PRNewswire-First Call / -- RG Global Lifestyles, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RGBL) today announced that Aquair, Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary, has finalized a Distribution Agreement with M&T Industries, a California corporation, granting Aquair the sole worldwide distribution and marketing rights to the proprietary air to water filtration products using Peltier technology.
Peltier technology uses two ceramic plates along with an array of small Bismuth Telluride cubes (“couples”) in between. When a DC current is applied, heat is moved from one side of the device to the other, where it is removed via a heatsink. This produces a cold surface over which a fan blows air, thus providing cooling to an area. As the unit does not use refrigerant, is makes it very environmentally friendly, extremely quiet and very lightweight. The first product to be manufactured will be the home/office model atmospheric water generator. The new system has the potential of generating considerably more water than the currently available technology. Aquair will initially market and distribute the products to be manufactured by M&T. At a later date, Aquair will be granted a License by M&T to manufacture, market and distribute the newly developed products using the Peltier technology. Terms of the agreement call for M&T to file no less than five patents to protect the new air to water technology. Mehdi Hatamian, Ph.D. is Co-Founder of M&T Industries. Dr. Hatamian is a recognized expert in high-speed VLSI signal processing, image processing and compression, full-custom and low power circuit and architecture design, adaptive filtering, Gigabit Ethernet transceiver design, high density deep sub-micron CMOS design, high temperature superconductors, and biomedical electronics. He has published nearly 50 papers in his areas of expertise and holds 27 patents with several patents pending. Dr. Hatamian is a Fellow of the
Louis L. Knickerbocker, Chairman and CEO, said: “We are privileged to be working side-by-side with Dr. Hatamian in the development of this new water generation system. This newly designed unit is a paradigm shift in air-to-water technology and gives Aquair a significant market advantage. The patents when issued will highlight in detail the unique<
