RG Global Lifestyles, Inc. Receives Notice of Confirmation of Filing of Provisional Patent Applications From the United States Patent Office for M&T Industries' Peltier Technology to Produce Water From Air

June 05  2006

IRVINE, Calif., June 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RG Global Lifestyles, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RGBL - News) today announced it has received Notice of Confirmation of Filing of Provisional Patent Applications from The U.S. Patent Office issued to Mehti Hatamian, Ph.D., co-founder of M&T Industries relating to its Peltier technology.

The four patent filing numbers and titles are: MTRIC-001N (HEAT SINK) 60/794,730; MTRIC-002D (AIR & WATER PELTIER PLATE) 29/258,708; MTRIC-003N (IMPROVED PELTIER SYSTEM WITH WATER PURIFICATION MEANS) 60/797,291; MTRIC-004N (RECIRCULATING WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM & METHOD) 60/797,156. The fifth patent application will be filed shortly.

Dr. Hatamian is a recognized expert in high-speed VLSI signal processing, image processing and compression, full-custom and low power circuit and architecture design, adaptive filtering, Gigabit Ethernet transceiver design, high density deep sub-micron CMOS design, high temperature superconductors, and biomedical electronics. He has published nearly 50 papers in his areas of expertise and holds 27 patents with several patents pending. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) whose technical objectives center on advancing the theory and practice of electrical engineering, electronics computer engineering and computer science. From 1978 to 1982, Dr. Hatamian worked for NASA's Space Shuttle program, developing hardware and software designs to support in-flight biomedical experiments.

In April 2006, Aquair, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of RG Global Lifestyles, Inc., finalized a Distribution and Marketing Agreement with M&T Industries for the exclusive world wide distribution and marketing rights to the jointly developed M&T proprietary air to water production using the Peltier technology. Terms of the Agreement called for M&T to file no less than five patents to protect the new air to water technology.

"Receiving notice of confirmation of these provisional patent applications from the U. S. Patent Office relating to M&T's Peltier technology constitutes a significant step in the development of air to water technology," said Louis L. Knickerbocker, Chairman and CEO. "This innovative new design using the Peltier technology overcomes 99% of the problems inherent in existing home and office air to water technology products -- it is more reliable, produces more water, uses less electricity, and runs silent."

M&T has reported it is on track to manufacture the first units for distribution and sales by Aquair in the fourth quarter of 2006.

About Aquair, Inc.

Aquair, Inc. (AQUAIR(TM)) was formed for the express purpose of developing and distributing quality water products using the latest in UV technologies to provide pure safe water around the world. Reports from around the country and the world continue to confirm the deterioration of the water supply. Much of the contamination is microbial in nature. Many of the treatment methods for water deal only with the "aesthetic" qualities of the water, taste, clarity and are not effective in the microbial purification of the water.
